This is the third of four summer history programs that the Summerland Museum is offering to get children engaged with Summerland’s rich history. Children can join us at the Summerland Museum to explore our new exhibit on pioneer photographer Mary Spencer and learn about how she captured one of the most famous photos in Canadian history. They will develop their knowledge about the history of photography and make their own prints and camera obscuras.
These activities are drop-in by donation ($5 suggested) and are best suited for children ages 6-10. For more information, please contact Rebecca at summerhistoryprogram@gmail.com.
