This is the last of four summer history programs that the Summerland Museum is offering to get children engaged with Summerland’s rich history. Children can join us at the Summerland Museum for a day of being rich. They will learn about the local plants that make living here so wonderful and participate in a plant dissection. Then they will live the life of a gold miner by learning about the gold rush and panning for gold nuggets.
These activities are drop-in by donation ($5 suggested) and best suited for children ages 6-10. For more information, please contact Rebecca at summerhistoryprogram@gmail.com.
