Summerland Story Detectives

  • Summerland Museum 9521 Wharton Street Summerland Canada (map)

This is the first of four summer history programs that the Summerland Museum is putting on to get children engaged with Summerland’s rich history. Children can join us at the Summerland Museum and become story detectives. They will hear stories about Summerland and its inhabitants and investigate to find out if the stories are true or made-up. Afterwards, they will try their hand at writing their own stories about Summerland. Children will experience Summerland’s history through spooky, silly, and exciting stories!

These activities are drop-in by donation ($5 suggested) and are best suited for children ages 6-10. For more information, please contact Rebecca at
