Are you looking for a fun Halloween-themed activity? The Summerland Museum is running two guided tours of Peach Orchard Cemetery- one of the oldest cemeteries in Summerland.

Wander through the sagebrush and gaze out over the spectacular views of the lake while listening to tales from Summerland’s past. Be regaled with stories from the people buried in the cemetery - many of whom were early pioneers of Summerland. The stories range from informative, to funny - and yes, even spooky!

Hear the story of the night a bull was let loose in downtown Summerland, and the story of a man who was attacked by a bull - which, oddly enough, were two separate incidents. Also, hear non-bull-related stories!

You are not guaranteed to see a real ghost but you will feel the ghosts of the past all around you as we relive their stories. Come on out for an afternoon of cemetery fun!

$15/person or $10/person for Summerland Museum & Archives Members.

The group will meet at the Peach Orchard Cemetery, 6300 Ramsay Street. Please dress for the chilly October weather and arrive a few minutes early so that the tour can begin on time.

Pre-register in person, or by clicking on Cemetery Tour Tickets.
